UAE completes transfer of 7,479 passengers to Tel Aviv after flydubai suspension

The UAE has completed the transfer of passengers affected by the temporary suspension of flydubai flights to Tel Aviv, with 37 flights carrying 7,479 passengers from Dubai to Ben Gurion Airport since October 2.

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said arrangements were made to provide alternative travel options for passengers whose scheduled flights were disrupted.

UAE authorities granted permits for Israeli carriers to operate flights to Dubai alongside Etihad Airways services, helping accommodate affected passengers during the suspension.

The GCAA confirmed that coordination to assist stranded passengers and return them to their destinations has been completed.

Etihad Airways continues to operate scheduled flights to Tel Aviv, providing an additional travel option for passengers.

The authority said it remains in coordination with relevant authorities and airlines to support the continuity of air transport and passenger services.
