PIF Named Official Supporter of FIFA World Cup 2026
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) has been named an official supporter in Asia and North America for the FIFA World Cup 2026 under a new partnership announced jointly by PIF and FIFA.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to promoting football at all levels, from grassroots participation to professional competition, while creating new opportunities for fans and communities to engage with the sport.
The partnership also includes two PIF-backed entities — Savvy Games Group and Qiddiya City — which will contribute to delivering innovative fan experiences and global audience engagement initiatives.
The FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted across three countries, will be the largest edition in the tournament’s history, featuring 48 national teams from around the world.
FIFA officials said the partnership will support football development, innovation, and youth participation globally, while strengthening connections with fans worldwide.
PIF stated that the collaboration reflects its growing international presence in sports and builds on previous partnerships with FIFA and regional football organizations.
