Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call on Thursday with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, focusing on maritime security concerns and efforts to ease regional tensions.
During the discussion, the two leaders reviewed the latest regional developments and their broader security and economic implications at both regional and international levels.
They emphasized de-escalation efforts, strengthening regional stability, and ensuring the safety of maritime navigation, given its direct impact on global trade and essential supply chains.
The call also covered bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan, both sides reviewed existing areas of cooperation and explored ways to further enhance and expand collaboration across multiple sectors.
