Fakhreddine Calls Said Maalem “Stupid and Childish” for Carrying Belt ahead of BRAVE CF 57

Middleweight champion Mohammad Fakhreddine will have a new chance to become a two-weight world champion at BRAVE CF 57 when he faces arch-rival Mohamed Said Maalem once again.

The two men first met at BRAVE CF 52 with Said Maalem first having his hand raised - however, the fight result was changed to a no-contest due to punches on the back of the head.

That hasn’t stopped Said Maalem from considering himself as the Light Heavyweight champion, with pictures of him holding the BRAVE CF belt on his social media.

This hasn’t sat well with Fakhreddine, who claimed his counterpart has “mental problems” if he still thinks he’s the title-holder of the officially vacant world title. “You hit me in the back of the head with at least three shots. One of them was a hammerfist which really did damage (…) That’s actually pretty stupid and childish. You’re only carrying a piece of metal around. You haven’t been crowned the champion. What the hell are you doing with the belt on your shoulder and going with it on TV shows? This guy’s got some mental issues. Has he gone to Tapology or Sherdog? I don’t think he knows what these are - there’s something wrong with this guy.”

After both men went to war for the first time, fans can expect another huge fight with the bad blood between Fakhreddine and Said Maalem ready to spill over once again - two of the best Arab fighters of all time on a collision course for history-making moments. The rematch of the year for BRAVE CF will take place as the co-main event of BRAVE CF 57.

The show is headlined by a vacant Bantamweight title fight between top contenders Hamza Kooheji and Brad Katona and will be held at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, in Bahrain, on March 11th and available worldwide through bravecftv. com and locally through the organization’s broadcast partners.
