NBB supports participation of Smile Society in Bahrain Comic Con

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently supported the participation of Smile Society in this year’s Bahrain Comic Con, a prominent local charity supporting children battling cancer.
Held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the event took place on 26th and 27th April at the Bahrain International Circuit.
This initiative falls under NBB’s Donations and Contributions programme, specifically the National Initiatives – Equal Opportunities pillar, which focuses on supporting and empowering various segments of the community.
As part of its commitment to social responsibility, the Bank hosted 40 courageous young fighters, each accompanied by a parent or guardian, for an uplifting experience at the Comic Con.
To ensure a memorable event for the young guests, NBB secured 40 Special VIP passes, granting exclusive privileges and access to all attractions of the two-day event.
Each child was provided with a custom lanyard emblazoned with the word “Hero” to remind them of their inner strength and resilience in their ongoing battles.
NBB’s support to Smile Society’s participation in the Bahrain Comic Con, exemplifies the Bank’s dedication to supporting the community and creating a positive impact on the lives of those who need it the most.
