Baghdad moves to Welterweight division

ManamaMehdi Baghdadhas initiated his training camp in Bahrain at KHK MMA Gym after signing with Brave Combat Federation. 

The former lightweight fighter has announced that he will be fighting in the welterweight division of Brave Combat Federation. 

The French mixed martial artist who fights out of Los Angeles, California had previously fought for the UFC in the lightweight division. He was a contestant on The Ultimate fighter 22: Team McGregor vs Team Faber.

“Brave Combat Federation has one of the best welterweight divisions in the world and I want to prove that I am the best fighter in the organisation. It is every fighter’s dream to be a champion, but I would like to take a step further. I want to become a champion who will be remembered forever. Compared to other organisations, Brave Combat Federation has a vision and a direction. For athletes such motivation inspire us to be committed to the society as examples to guide the younger generation. Moving to the welterweight division will force me to be at my best and to challenge the best. That is what I have signed for and I am looking forward to be a part of the event in Indonesia,” said Baghdad.
