Elaine Leal set to make history
Manama : Brave CombatFederation has confirmed that the eleventh edition of the event in Brazil marks the international debut of Elaine Leal.
Leal will compete against Luana Pinheiro in the preliminary card. Leal had trained in Muay Thai, and Brave Combat Federation is the first global exposure for the fighter who competes in the strawweight division. The bout is special as this will be for the first time Brave will be adding women’s bout in Brazil.
“I am really thankful towards the Kingdom of Bahrain for making Brave happen in Brazil. As an athlete I had to overcome many obstacles. Every day, I had to walk an hour to reach the gym, and at times I had trained all day without even having lunch. I kept going because of my passion for the sport. The initiatives by the Kingdom of Bahrain is making a huge difference for athletes around the world by giving them an equal and truly global platform to compete and support their dreams,” said Elaine.
Brave 11 is set for Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais, and will mark the third promotional event in Brazil.
