PM receives oil sample
Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday received a sample of the oil produced from the newly discovered oil field on the sidelines of the Cabinet meeting held at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
The sample was received in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. The discovery of the largest oil field in the Kingdom was announced by the High Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security on Monday.
HRH the Premier lauded the importance of this discovery in boosting development and ensuring its sustainability so as to meet citizens’ aspirations. He hailed the efforts of the High Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security in bringing about this major discovery which is the result of the royal directives and will usher in a new phase of growth and prosperity.
