Body Works opens heavy vehicles unit

ManamaThe body works, a joint venture between Zayani Motors and First Motors, has added a new state-of-the-art heavy commercial vehicle manufacturing and fabrication unit to its facility in the Kingdom. 

Launched in 2015, Body Works, a multi-story accident repair and body modification facility, offers repairs for accident related, cosmetic, and modification jobs for every type of automobiles.

“It is with immense pleasure that we extend our services to the owners of heavy vehicles, following our great success over the past three years in servicing light vehicles,” Body Works Managing Director Rashid Hamid Alzayani said.

“Our new facility houses up-to-date equipment armed with the latest technologies designed to fabricate for all types of truck bodies.”

The facility, according to the company, is capable of carrying out all kinds of bodyworks including the adaptation of commercial vehicles to customer requirements.  “Be it crane mounting, truck body mounting or chassis alterations.”

Being the first of its kind facility in Bahrain, various stages of work are arranged vertically on different floors of the unit. Vehicles are moved with purpose-built elevators through different stages of the work process.

Body Works Managing Director, Rashid Hamid Alzayani, said that there is a strong demand for the high-quality services offered by the Body Works’ team who are “committed to delivering nothing but the best results”.  

Explaining further, Body Works General Manager Anil Varghese said that the country is rapidly growing when it comes to the commercial applications and related industries.

“We have seen a potential for growth in the past few years and also acknowledge the fact that there is a requirement for a quality job in this field,” he said adding that people are currently depending on regional markets for quality products.

“Competition is there, but our main objective is to not compromise on quality,” he told DT News adding: “It’s a tough market, but there are customers who value quality.”
