Korea – Bahrain healthcare forum

Manama : The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is organising a forum on ‘2018 Korea – Bahrain Healthcare’ on January 30, 2018 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel. 

The event, held under the patronage of Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, will present the most updated health technologies and strategies in Korea as well as the status of Korea healthcare Industry & Korea – Bahrain Cooperation Plan (KHIDI). This will be followed by a networking dinner among participants. 

Sponsored by the Supreme Council for Health, The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Republic of Korea and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), the forum will host a number of Korean Hospitals such as: Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH), Yonsei University Health System and Korea University Medical Center. 

Besides, two Korean institutions, one specialized in Stem Cell sciences – CHA Meditech - and Gene-analysis –Macrogen, will also participate in the forum. 

The Supreme Council of Health has signed an agreement with the Health Insurance Review and Assessment of Korea to help establish a health information system infrastructure for the implementation of the National Social Health Insurance Program (SEHATI) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
