Injured Haj pilgrim to be brought back to Bahrain

ManamaAn injured pilgrim will be brought back to Bahrain after her arm broke during the pilgrimage trip (Haj) to Mecca recently.

Health Minister Faeqa Al Saleh was assured by the Haj Mission’s Coordinative Medical Committee, which operates under the ministry’s umbrella, on the condition of the woman and the other Bahraini pilgrims.

Committee Head Dr. Ibrahim Obaid confirmed to the minister in a telephone conversation that the pilgrim’s health condition is stable and that arrangements have been made to bring her back to the Kingdom, accompanied by a nurse from the committee.Obaid assured the minister about Bahrain’s Haj Mission, explaining that the medical committee received 260 pilgrims so far and referred 16 of them to the hospital. The medical cadre are mainly taking care of the health of Bahrain pilgrims stationed in Mecca, besides providing healthcare and other services to pilgrims from around the world.
