Student commits suicide in flat
Manama : A 15-year-old girl studying in tenth grade in a private school here committed suicide yesterday, according to sources.
Ansu Jacob, a class X student of Asian School, hailing from Indian state of Kerala was found dead in her flat by her father yesterday afternoon.
The body is kept at the Salmania Medical Complex (SMC) morgue and will be repatriated to her hometown once the paperworks are completed, sources said.
The reason for the suicide is yet to be disclosed.
Ansu, the daughter of Jacob Machukad Kuruvilla and Kochumol, was set to appear for her board exams in March.
The Asian School teachers visited the family and expressed condolence on the death.
