Bahrain Grand Prix: 50pc off on kids’ tickets
Manama: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,” is offering fantastic deals on children’s tickets to the 2016 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
The highly anticipated Formula 1 weekend will take place from April 1 to 3 in Sakhir, and children joining their families and friends at the event can get up to half off on ticket prices.
Youngsters aged between three and 12 can get a 50 per cent discount on their tickets, while school students aged between 13 and 17 can get a 25pc reduction. Toddlers aged below three can come in with their families for free.
For those wishing to learn something new, a series of workshops will be available. These include balloon, bubble, circus and magic workshops.
Dr Bubble and Spandy Andy will be interacting with the youngsters, while Titeretu, Tremendous and Amazing Drummer Monkeys will also be on hand. Further, children can enjoy themselves in a Labyrinth Maze.
With the Bahrain Grand Prix fast approaching, the tickets are being sold fast. A Main Grandstand ticket costs BD150 apiece at original price, while a Batelco Grandstand ticket is BD120. A ticket to the Turn One Grandstand is BD100, and tickets to the University and Victory Grandstands are BD60 apiece.
Other discounts include 10pc off for university students and 25pc discount for senior citizens and people with special needs.
All tickets are for three-day access to the Grand Prix weekend, which will also include the TCR International Series and the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East.
Off the track, to go along with the kids’ entertainment, BIC is presenting its usual selection of family-friendly activities, including live performances from world famous recording artists on three nights of the race weekend.
Ticket holders will also be able to enjoy a pit walk, as well as access to all the live concerts.
