The 27th Arabian Gulf Cup will officially be known as the "Al Diyar Al Arabiya Gulf 27" following a partnership between the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) and Al Diyar Al Arabiya Real Estate Development Company.

The agreement was signed in Makkah in the presence of AGCFF secretary-general Jassim Sultan Al Rumaihi and Al Diyar Al Arabiya chairman engineer Muammar Al Attawi.

Al Rumaihi said the partnership reflected the confidence companies continue to place in the Gulf Cup, while also praising Saudi Arabia's infrastructure and experience ahead of hosting the tournament for a fifth time.

Eight teams will compete in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6, with matches taking place at King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City.

Defending champions Bahrain open their Group B campaign against Qatar on September 24 before facing the UAE and Yemen.
