Disabilities Committee Discusses Service Development
Social Development Minister and Chair of the National Committee for Persons with Disabilities, Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, chaired the committee’s third meeting of 2026, attended by members representing the relevant authorities.
The minister affirmed that empowering persons with disabilities and enhancing their active participation in society remain key priorities in Bahrain’s social development efforts.
He emphasised the Ministry of Social Development’s commitment to continuously developing the services and facilities for persons with disabilities, while adopting initiatives and solutions that address their needs.
He noted that coordinated efforts among relevant authorities are essential to improving the efficiency and quality of the services provided to persons with disabilities.
