Royal Humanitarian Foundation, UN Discuss Joint Relief Efforts

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation and the United Nations Population Fund (United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)) have discussed ways to enhance joint humanitarian and development cooperation during an online meeting.

Engineer Ibrahim Dilhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, held virtual talks with Jocelyn Finard, Representative of UNFPA and Head of the Gulf Cooperation Council Office.

The meeting explored avenues to strengthen collaboration in humanitarian and development fields, where both sides reviewed ongoing efforts to support vulnerable groups and those most in need.

They also discussed potential cooperation in priority regions, including Gaza, Syria, and Sudan, alongside exchanging technical expertise in the health sector and coordinating humanitarian aid delivery.

The two sides reaffirmed the importance of joint action to improve the effectiveness of humanitarian response and expand support to affected communities across crisis-hit regions.
