Bahrain audit chief praises King’s speech as “national governance roadmap”

Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Financial and Administrative Control Bureau, has praised the recent royal address delivered by Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, describing it as a comprehensive national vision focused on strengthening governance, stability, and institutional development.

Sheikh Ahmed said the address, delivered during the weekly Cabinet meeting attended by Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, highlighted the importance of safeguarding national security and preserving Bahrain’s development achievements amid evolving regional and international challenges.

He noted that the speech reflected His Majesty’s commitment to promoting responsible national action and ensuring that state institutions remain prepared to address future developments with confidence and efficiency.

The Audit Bureau chief said the King’s recognition of the public’s awareness and sense of civic responsibility demonstrated the strong relationship between Bahrain’s leadership and its citizens. He added that national unity and social cohesion continue to be essential pillars supporting the Kingdom’s development journey.

Sheikh Ahmed also highlighted His Majesty’s appreciation of the efforts of state institutions and members of society, saying it underscored the importance of partnership in protecting national achievements and reinforcing values of loyalty, responsibility, and dedication to the nation.

He further pointed to the emphasis placed on the rule of law, integrity, transparency, and institutional efficiency, describing these principles as fundamental to enhancing public trust and ensuring sustainable development.

According to Sheikh Ahmed, Bahrain’s achievements across key sectors reflect the strategic vision of His Majesty the King and the policies of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which have strengthened the Kingdom’s ability to navigate challenges and maintain progress.

He also welcomed the King’s call for peace and regional stability, noting that it aligns with Bahrain’s long-standing diplomatic approach based on dialogue, cooperation, and respect for international law.

Concluding his remarks, Sheikh Ahmed said the royal address highlighted the importance of future readiness and continuous institutional improvement. He reaffirmed the Financial and Administrative Control Bureau’s commitment to supporting governance, accountability, and transparency in line with the Kingdom’s national development goals.
