Kuwait PM Inspects Airport Damage Following Missile and Drone Strike

Kuwait’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, visited Terminal 1 at Kuwait International Airport on Wednesday to assess the damage caused by a missile and drone attack that struck the facility earlier in the day.
During the inspection, the Prime Minister was briefed on the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the death of one victim and injuries sustained by several others. Officials also outlined the extent of the damage to airport infrastructure and facilities.
Sheikh Ahmad reviewed reports prepared by relevant authorities detailing the impact of the strike, as well as ongoing efforts to secure the affected areas and restore normal airport operations as quickly as possible.
The visit underscored the government’s commitment to closely monitoring the situation and supporting recovery efforts following the attack.
