Preparations for BIAS 2016 in full swing

Personal Representative of His Majesty the King Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Head of the Supreme Organising Committee of Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS), paid an inspection visit to Sakhir Air Base to get informed about the latest preparations for BIAS. He was accompanied by Sakhir Air Base Commander Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Bahussain Al-Musallam, Civil Aviation Affairs Acting Undersecretary Ahmed Al-Nema, members of the organising committee and officials.

Shaikh Abdullah listened to a detailed account on preparations for the exhibition and its associated functions as well as safety procedures put in place for the air shows and visitors. 

He praised the ongoing efforts to ensure success of BIAS 2016, directing to provide all needed facilities for the participants, organisers, visitors and media staff from Bahrain and abroad. 

He stressed that the mega event is a reassertion of Bahrain's good reputation as a major host of international exhibitions, welcoming all to the event. 

He also thanked members of the Supreme Organising Committee, officials and participants for their tremendous efforts to ensure success of the show, wishing them every success.
