IMTIAZ, the commercial brand under Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company (BCFC), has announced a strategic partnership with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) to integrate charitable giving into the IMTIAZ loyalty programme. The partnership allows cardholders to convert their loyalty points into charitable donations to RHF through the Sahel application.

Points to support

Through this initiative, IMTIAZ cardholders can seamlessly donate their accumulated points to support the Foundation’s charitable programmes. The new feature enables users to contribute to meaningful causes and create a positive impact in the community with every transaction.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr Abdulla Abdulrazaq Bukhowa, Chief Executive Officer of BCFC, said: “We are honoured to partner with the Royal Humanitarian Fund, an organisation dedicated to humanitarian efforts and community welfare. Ibrahim Dalhan Al Dosari, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Fund, commended the collaboration with Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company through the launch of the initiative, which enables IMTIAZ cardholders to convert their loyalty points into donations supporting the Foundation’s projects and initiatives.

Model of community partnership

Mr Al Dosari said the initiative represents an effective model of community partnership between private sector institutions and humanitarian work overseen by the Foundation. He noted that enabling the conversion of points into donations helps foster a culture of giving, reinforces social responsibility, and positively impacts the sustainability of programmes implemented for beneficiaries.

He added that the Royal Humanitarian Fund remains committed to building strategic partnerships with national entities, helping diversify support sources and develop innovative mechanisms that enable community members to participate in charitable work more easily.
