Washington Talks Boost Bahrain Relations

His Highness Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, conducted a series of high-level meetings with senior members of the United States Congress during his official visit to Washington D.C.

HH Shaikh Nasser met separately with Senators Jacky Rosen, Brian Schatz, and Lindsey Graham, as well as Representative Brian Mast, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, along with the accompanying delegation, attended the meetings.

Across all four meetings, HH Shaikh Nasser reaffirmed the depth of Bahrain-U.S. ties, highlighting the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) as a cornerstone of the two nations' evolving strategic partnership—one that continues to expand across security, political, and economic domains.

Discussions covered bilateral cooperation, regional and international developments, and shared priorities. Both sides expressed commitment to advancing coordination in ways that serve mutual interests and support peace and stability regionally and globally
