Bahrain Air Defenses Intercept 45 Missiles and 9 Drones
The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has announced that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed a series of hostile Iranian attacks.
According to the statement, Bahrain’s air defense units effectively engaged and neutralized 45 missiles and nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Among the intercepted drones were several identified as Shahed-136 models.
The BDF confirmed that the defensive operation was carried out efficiently, preventing the incoming threats from reaching their intended targets. Authorities described the attacks as hostile and reaffirmed the readiness of Bahrain’s defense systems to safeguard the Kingdom’s airspace and protect its citizens and residents.
The statement highlighted the preparedness and capability of Bahrain’s air defense forces in responding to aerial threats, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to maintaining national security.
