Royal leadership praised

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, received cables of congratulations on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

Greetings were sent by senior officials and members of the royal family, including His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; H.E. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister; H.E. Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister; H.E. Lieutenant General Staff Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs; H.E. Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff; HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty the King; H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court; HH Shaikh Ali bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Minister of Royal Court Affairs; H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Higher Urban Planning Committee; and H.E. Major General Bassam Mohammed Khamis Al Maraj, President of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), among others.

The Minister of Interior highlighted the support of HM the King and the directives of HRH Prince Salman, in the development of the BDF.

H.E. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah wished further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
