The University of Bahrain received accreditation as a Health-Promoting University under standards recognised by the World Health Organization after successfully meeting programme requirements and completing a comprehensive assessment. University President Dr. Fouad Mohammed Al Ansari said the accreditation reflects efforts to provide a healthy, safe and supportive campus environment.
WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean representative Dr. Samar Al Faqi and Health Ministry Health Promotion Director Dr. Wafaa Ibrahim Al Sharbati praised the university’s efforts to integrate health and wellbeing into its policies and practices.
