Lebanese Minister Visits Bahrain, Reaffirms Cooperation

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received today at Al-Sakhir Palace His Excellency Ahmad Muhammad Al-Hajar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of the brotherly Lebanese Republic, during his visit to the Kingdom.

During the meeting, the Lebanese minister conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Excellency President Michel Aoun, President of Lebanon, and his best wishes for Bahrain and its people for continued progress and prosperity.

His Majesty welcomed the Lebanese minister and asked him to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Lebanese president and the people of Lebanon for further growth and development.

The King praised the close fraternal relations between Bahrain and Lebanon, noting their continuous progress in various fields that serve their mutual interests. His Majesty highlighted the importance of such visits, which reflect the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, coordination, and joint work, particularly in the security sector, for mutual benefit. He affirmed Bahrain’s firm stance towards Lebanon, supporting all measures that safeguard its security, stability, unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while serving the interests of the Lebanese people.

For his part, Minister Al-Hajar expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for the warm reception and hospitality. He valued Bahrain’s honorable stance under the leadership of the King towards Lebanon and its people, emphasizing Bahrain’s commitment to Lebanon’s unity and security. He also expressed Lebanon’s eagerness to enhance relations with Bahrain across all fields for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
