Bahrain-Saudi Executive Committee Holds Regular Meeting to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Executive Committee of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council held its regular meeting today, reflecting the longstanding historical relations and deep fraternal bonds between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting, held in the presence of delegations from both countries, underscores the continued support and attention given to these relations by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

The Bahraini delegation was led by H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, alongside HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and H.E. Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs. Representing Saudi Arabia was H.E. Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

At the start of the meeting, Dr. Al Zayani warmly welcomed Prince Faisal and his accompanying delegation, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations and peoples. He emphasized that the session continues the fruitful journey of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council, chaired by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, noting the sustained guidance and support they provide to the council’s ambitious objectives.

The meeting focused on deepening cooperation across various sectors, further reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two brotherly nations.
