Bahrain and Syria Explore Strengthening Health Cooperation

The Minister of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic, H.E. Dr. Musab Nazzal Al-Ali, received the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Damascus and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria, Mr. Wahid Mubarak Sayyar, at the Ministry headquarters.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ali expressed Syria’s interest in developing joint cooperation and benefiting from Bahrain’s leading experience in the healthcare sector. He emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and official visits to further serve the interests of both nations and their peoples.

Ambassador Sayyar congratulated Dr. Al-Ali on his recent appointment as Minister of Health in the Syrian transitional government, wishing him success in his new role. He also reaffirmed Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen the exchange of medical knowledge and experience with Syria.

The meeting highlighted the deep brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Syrian Arab Republic, and discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the health field to serve common goals and mutual interests.
