Bahrain Gears Up for the Fifth Edition of Nasser bin Hamad Cycling Tour

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has directed the Bahrain Cycling Association to make full preparations for the fifth edition of the Nasser bin Hamad Cycling Tour for Amateurs, scheduled to take place from November 5 to 8, in collaboration with Faalyat Company.

HH Shaikh Nasser emphasized that the cycling tour aims to promote sports as a lifestyle within Bahraini society, highlighting its positive impact on public health and quality of life. He added that the event encourages greater youth participation in competitive sports and supports Bahrain’s growing sports culture.

His Highness noted that the cycling tour plays a significant role in promoting Bahrain’s tourism landmarks, as the route passes through several governorates across the Kingdom. It also provides an opportunity for Bahraini citizens, GCC nationals, and residents to engage in the sport and discover new local talents.

Reflecting on the previous editions, HH Shaikh Nasser said the tour has consistently achieved remarkable success in terms of participation and competitive spirit, establishing itself as one of Bahrain’s leading sporting events.

He also stressed the importance of joint efforts among various entities to ensure the success of this year’s edition.

The fifth edition of the Nasser bin Hamad Cycling Tour will feature multiple participant categories, including Bahraini and expatriate cyclists from various nationalities, along with cyclists from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries—further strengthening bonds of brotherhood and regional sports collaboration.
