Works Ministry completes 134 road projects in 2015
Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry recently announced that it had implemented 134 road projects in the Capital Governorate in 2015.
Roads Affairs Assistant Undersecretary Huda Fakhro stated that implementing the projects came to ensure traffic safety in the Capital, in coordination with the Capital General Secretariat.
She explained that the works included re-paving roads, establishment of parking spaces, opening new roads, entries and exits as well as constructing speed breakers.
The projects were implemented in Bahrain Bay, King Faisal Highway, Gudaibiya, Bab Al Bahrain and Imam Hussain Avenue.
The Assistant Undersecretary assured that the ministry would continue implementing projects to improve the infrastructural services in Bahrain.
