World's largest hotel to open in Saudi

The uunche Shauks of Sheikhs of the world are not hidden from anyone. I mean, look at their cities, their cars and all their extravagance. Well, if all goes well, they’ll soon give the world the biggest hotel ever, reports the Indian Express.

The Abraj Kudai Hotel

Yes, that’s what it’ll be called and it will be housed two kilometers from the world’s largest mosque, Masjid Al Haram in Mecca city of Saudi Arabia. Funded by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance, the $3.5 billion hotel is designed by Dar Al-Handasah group and should be ready to host visitors by 2017.

Now you can have a look at the pictures and long for a day when you can finally afford to stay in it.

Abraj Kudai will contain 12 towers, ranging from 30 to 40 storeys each, for residential and hotel purposes. Also, Indiatimes reports that the top five floors shall be reserved for the Saudi Royal Families.

10,000 rooms; 70 restaurants and diverse food courts.

4 rooftop helipads; one of the world’s largest domes.

A ballroom housed within a dome on the top; a shopping mall; a bus station; car parks of course and, let me catch a breath, a convention centre.

So how bad do you feel for yourself now? You regret seeing this, don’t you?
