149,000 PEOPLE KILLED IN PAK AND AFGHANISTAN BETWEEN 2001 AND 2014

This world is not a peaceful place. Thousands continue to die on account of wars, religion and dirty politics. A new study reveals that 149,000 people (both military and civilian casualties put together) were killed both in Pakistan and Afghanistan while wounding 162,000! Is not it time to say no to wars and vote for peace?

Costs of War, a new study produced by Brown University’s Watson Institute for International Studies looks at war-related deaths, injuries, displacements in Afghanistan and Pakistan from 2001 to last year when international combat troops left Afghanistan.

In Afghanistan alone since the 2001 US-led invasion that overthrew the Taliban regime, the war killed almost 100,000 people and would a like amount.
