Healthcare at Your Doorstep: Home Lab Collection Expands in UAE
PureLab has launched a new home collection service across the United Arab Emirates, allowing residents to undergo diagnostic testing without visiting a laboratory or clinic.
The service enables patients to schedule sample collection appointments from their homes, with results for most routine tests expected within 24 hours, the company said on Monday.
The initiative was introduced following a pilot phase in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with plans to expand the service further across the country.
PureLab, a subsidiary of PureHealth, said the move is aimed at improving access to preventive healthcare and making routine testing more convenient for residents, particularly those facing mobility challenges or time constraints.
The home collection service includes a range of routine and advanced diagnostic tests, including wellness screenings, diabetes and cholesterol checks, thyroid assessments, vitamin testing and bone health evaluations.
According to the company, samples collected at home will be transported directly to PureLab’s laboratory network for analysis. The company currently operates more than 145 laboratories across the UAE and employs over 1,400 licensed clinical staff.
Dr. Sonali Datta, Chief Commercial Officer of PureLab, said the service reflects growing demand for accessible and patient-focused healthcare solutions.
She said the initiative would help residents access earlier health insights and support preventive care while maintaining the same laboratory standards available at physical testing centres.
The company added that the launch aligns with the UAE’s broader healthcare strategy focused on prevention, personalised care and improving healthcare accessibility through technology-driven services.
PureLab is currently offering free home delivery for a limited period. Appointments can be booked through the company’s call centre or WhatsApp service.
