New Horizon Marks 26 Years with New Campus Launch

The New Horizon School celebrated 26 years of learning, growth, and academic excellence with the formal inauguration of its Janusan Campus alongside the grand unveiling of the new British Curriculum Institution, New Horizon English School, Zinj.

The landmark milestone event was hosted in the school's Multipurpose Hall, combining the celebrations with the annual Investiture Ceremony and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Installation Programme.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Madam Lubna Ghassan Al-Muhanna, Director of Private Education; Mr. Rajiv Kumar Mishra, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain; Madam Huda Abdulghaffar Mohammed Al-Erbati, Chief of Licensing of Private Educational Institutions; Mrs. Nada Sayed Khalil Abdul-Hashem, Head of Licensing Group, Ministry of Private Education; and Mr. Jeeben Varghese Kurian, representing Dr. Varghese Kurian.

School leadership present for the occasion included Chairman Mr. Joy Mathews, Principal Mrs. Vandana Sateesh, Junior Principal Mrs. Nirmala Angeloe, New Horizon Kindergarten Principal Mrs. Nisha Rajesh, New Horizon English School Principal Dr. Monika Mathur, Shareholders Mrs. Jaya Joy and Mrs. Sameera Shammad, and Event Coordinator Mrs. Deepti Shah.

Principal Mrs. Vandana Sateesh welcomed the gathering, while Chairman Mr. Joy Mathews reflected on the institution's 26-year journey extending to Grade 12 under its motto, "Abode of Excellence through Holistic Education."

During the Investiture Ceremony, the newly elected Student Council for 2026-27 took office, led by Presidents Louis James and Sreedevi Rajeev, complete with a traditional March Past and passing of the baton.

The occasion also marked the launch of New Horizon English School in Zinj, with Dr. Monika Mathur presenting the strategic vision for the new British Curriculum campus.

Additionally, the PTA Installation Programme inducted Dr. Gowsalya Lakshmi and Mr. Urmish Shinde as PTA Presidents, who outlined their action plan to enhance family-school partnerships.
