New Push for Bahrain–Thailand Halal Industry Collaboration

The Halal Science Center at Chulalongkorn University welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Thailand, along with a business delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in halal business, industry, and economic development, as well as fostering closer ties among entrepreneurs and expanding opportunities for commercial collaboration.
On Tuesday, the Halal Science Center of Chulalongkorn University, led by Director Dr. Pornpimol Mohammed, received a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain to exchange knowledge and explore collaboration opportunities in halal science, technology, and innovation in Thailand.
The visit was honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. Sumate Chulajata, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Manama (Ambassador of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain), along with H.E. Mr. Khalil Yacob Alkhayat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Thailand, and Mr. Khalid Al Ameen, Chairman of the Food Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (30th Session). They jointly led a delegation of Bahraini business representatives from the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to strengthen cooperation in trade and food security between Thailand, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the GCC countries.
This visit marked another important step toward strengthening cooperation in economic development, trade, and enhancing halal standards. Discussions also highlighted opportunities to advance halal logistics management and expand scientific innovation applications to ensure product safety and reliability, thereby reinforcing future cooperation networks in trade, investment, and food security between Thailand and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
