BCICAI’s “Pathways to Progress” conference kicked off today

The 13th Annual International Conference of the BCICAI, with the theme “Pathways to Progress,” began today under the patronage of Zayed R. Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism.

The two-day event at the Crowne Plaza, Manama, will host subject experts, management leaders, film actors and politicians. The purpose of this year’s seminar is to raise awareness of Pathways to Progress’s value in all situations, said BCICAI in a statement.

“COVID-19 had a significant influence on businesses in the previous year. Many businesses have used unique strategies to ensure growth in the face of adversity, as we’ve seen.” Ashish Vidyarthi, a national award-winning actor and acclaimed leadership coach, will open the conference with a programme designed to “Light Up the Extraordinary in You.”

Ashish delivers to enterprises his unique ideas gathered from acting in over 200 films in 11 various languages and cultures, helping organisations release their employees’ untapped potential. Following that, PR Ramesh, the former Chairman of Deloitte India, will talk on Pathways to Progress in Audit and Financial Reporting.

Mohit Ralhan, who has been selected as one of the “Top 10 Best Chief Investment Officers in India” by CEO Insights Magazine in 2020 and 2021, will take the stage next.

“We then have a subject matter expert with experience in Tax Planning and Structuring, Business Optimization, and Business Advisory in matters relating to Tax (VAT, Goods and Services Tax, and other Tax Laws), as well as Anti-dumping and Anti-Subsidy Laws in the European Region, Suresh Rohira.”

Following that, Jatin Dalal, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a multi-national company WIPRO Limited, will speak. Saleh Hussain, an outstanding speaker with over 35 years of expertise in several banking disciplines in the region, Europe, and the Asia Pacific, will round up the day.

The second day will have speakers, including TP Ostwal, a subject expert in international taxation and the current Managing Partner of Chartered Accountants firm TP Ostwal and Associates, Hossain Alshedoki, one of the ENR’s Top Talented Cyber Leaders with an engineering background, Sivakumar Palaniappan, Mindset Master, George Alexander Muthoot, who leads the Muthoot Group of Companies as its Managing Director, amongst others.

“We will conclude the big Conference with a famous Member of Parliament from Odisha who is also the National Spokesperson and IT Head for the Political Party,” BCICAI said.
