Laurels Centre for Global Education hosts free online ‘Placement Workshop’

Laurels Centre for Global Education is organising a free online “Placement Workshop” to support the job-seekers in polishing their skills and improving their employability.

The sessions will be conducted by Sindhu C Sadananthan, a placement trainer, and Abdul Jaleel Abdulla, a certified career coach. The event, which is open to the public, will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 6pm to 7.30pm via Zoom platform.

By the end of the workshop, the participants would be aware of the future of talents and top skills required to gain an extra edge and ways to best sell their skills. In light of the event, the Director and CEO, Abdul Jaleel Abdulla, stated: “I have found many eligible candidates struggle to impress the employer despite their knowledge and experience in the work.

This free online placement workshop will throw light on creating impressive resumes and LinkedIn profiles, preparing for an interview, common mistakes candidates make in an interview and ways to improve employability.
