Investment Takes Centre Stage in Southern Governorate

Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa opened the fifth edition of the Southern Governorate Investment Exhibition  under the theme “Towards Sustainable Development.”

The exhibition brings together companies, investors and entrepreneurs to showcase projects and initiatives and highlight investment opportunities across the governorate.

Shaikh Khalifa said the event reflects the governorate’s efforts to support the private sector, entrepreneurs and sustainable investment, while creating opportunities for future development projects.

The programme included a presentation on the governorate’s investment and development initiatives, followed by a short film highlighting its sustainable development efforts.

The governor also honoured representatives of participating investment and business organisations in recognition of their contribution to the exhibition.

During a tour of the exhibition, Shaikh Khalifa met participating companies and entrepreneurs and reviewed their projects and investment initiatives.

The event also featured a panel discussion focusing on investment, entrepreneurship, support for business owners and opportunities to strengthen the local business environment.

The fifth edition continues the governorate’s efforts to promote investment, support local entrepreneurs and encourage sustainable development projects.
