RHF Starts Jerusalem Education Endowment

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) laid the foundation stone for the “Bahrain Endowment for Education and Orphans” project in Jerusalem, in cooperation with the Jerusalem Empowerment and Development Fund.

RHF Acting Secretary-General Eng. Ebrahim Dalhan Aldoseri laid the foundation stone during the Foundation’s delegation visit to Jerusalem.

The project follows a cooperation agreement between the RHF and the Jerusalem Empowerment and Development Fund and will benefit Dar Al-Tifl Al-Arabi Girls’ School in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood.

The endowment aims to support the school’s educational and orphan-care services by contributing to its operational costs, expanding educational opportunities and strengthening its ability to continue providing services.

Aldoseri said the project reflects Bahrain’s commitment to humanitarian and development initiatives focused on education, orphan care and human development.

He described the project as the first endowment initiative of its kind in Jerusalem, adding that it represents an extension of Bahrain’s efforts to support the Palestinian people.

Aldoseri said the initiative reflects the RHF’s approach of moving beyond immediate humanitarian assistance towards sustainable development projects designed to create lasting benefits for individuals and communities.
