HM King Receives Credentials of Five New Ambassadors

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the credentials of five newly appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain during a ceremony held today.

The ambassadors are:

Choi Byoung-sun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea.

Dr. Javidan Rizvan Huseynov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Abdelmadjid Amini, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

Jasem Ibrahem Al Najem, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait.

Dr. Necati Sancaktutan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye.

His Majesty the King welcomed the newly appointed ambassadors and praised the distinguished relations between Bahrain and Arab and international countries, noting their continued development and growth across various levels.

His Majesty wished the ambassadors success in their diplomatic missions and in further strengthening the bonds of cooperation and friendship between their countries and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The ambassadors conveyed the greetings and appreciation of their respective leaders to His Majesty the King, along with their wishes for His Majesty’s continued health and happiness and for further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.

They also expressed appreciation for the strong and longstanding relations between their countries and Bahrain across various fields and affirmed their commitment to strengthening and developing those ties during their diplomatic tenure.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea highlighted the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and the Republic of Korea.

The ceremony was attended by His Highness the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King; His Highness the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Adviser; the Minister of the Royal Court; the Minister of Foreign Affairs; and the Chief of Royal Protocol.

The ambassadors had earlier arrived separately and were received by the Chief of Royal Protocol, following which the customary ceremonies were held.
