“Municipality Service at Your Door” completes 300 transactions: Bahrain

The Southern region municipality announced completing 300 transactions through their “Municipality Service at Your Door” initiative.
The transactions are from the launch of the initiative until September 2021.
The move, Municipal officials said, aims at providing hassle-free services to customers and save time and effort.
Southern Municipality provides municipal services at doorsteps through a mobile unit that offers 16 services, including building and municipal licences and other services.
The municipality launched the services in May last year to help the elderly, sick, pregnant women, and differently-abled.
The vehicles selected for delivering the services have a computer linked to systems of the municipality, official forms and an employee familiar with official procedures.
Municipal officials said they delivered disposable bags, received complaints, applications for electricity, building permits and licences, and other transactions.
