Bahraini Ambassador participates in Warsaw Process Missile Proliferation Working Group

Warsaw : The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Romania residing in Berlin, Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, participated in the Warsaw Process Missile Proliferation Working Group in partnership with the United States of America and the Republic of Poland from 14-15 November, at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, Republic of Romania.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Secretary of State of the Republic of Romania, Dan Neculăescu, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation Dr. Christopher A. Ford, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

The Ambassador expressed thanks to the Republic of Romania for hosting the workshop in partnership with the United States and Poland, which is an important outcome of the ministerial meeting held last February in Warsaw. In this regard, he highlighted the Warsaw Process Working Group on Maritime and Aviation Security, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 21 and 22 October.
 
The Ambassador also stressed the importance of reducing the smuggling of missiles to militias such as the Houthis, Hezbollah and other militias affiliated to Iran, stressing the need to work together to stop all violations in this area.
