Yoga event held ahead of World Yoga Day
Scores of yoga enthusiasts from different walks of life laid down their mats and performed ‘asanas’ as the Embassy of India organised an event at the iconic Bahrain Fort yesterday.
The event was held in the run-up to the International Day of Yoga 2019, which will be observed on June 21. A mega event for Fifth International Day of Yoga- ‘Yogafest21’ would be organized with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Bahrain at Khalifa Sports City Stadium on Friday, 21 June 2019 from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the embassy said in a statement issued. “Yoga is the journey from ‘me’ to ‘we’.
