Cars damaged in roof collapse
Manama : At least four cars were damaged after the roof of a partly demolished building collapsed on to the main road in Al Naim Area, opposite Al Nashamah cafeteria, in the Capital yesterday.
The incident occurred at Road 1418 block at around 10:00 am.
“The concrete roof of the school, which was getting demolished, wasn’t completely demolished at the construction site. The roof fell into the metal installation and onto the main road damaging the cars,” said a resident.
“No casualties were reported, but the metal installation fell into the road damaging the cars. The civil defence swiftly arrived at the site of the accident and took necessary action,” he added.
