CBB announces new e-service for its staffs with retail banks
Manama : The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) yesterday announced launching a new direct online banking system with retail banks in the Kingdom to facilitate hassle-free banking service for it employees.
The newly introduced system, CBB said, allows banks providing credit services to view the salary and employment records of CBB employees in a secured manner, after securing necessary
approvals.
The information, which will be secured using a special transaction code and available for a limited period, will be sent to the concerned bank electronically based on employees’ request, said Dr Huda Hussain Al-Maskati, Executive Director of Corporate Services.
The move is part of CBB’s strategy to enhance working mechanism, preserve information security and privacy and better optimise the use of resources.
