‘Focus on Bahraini youth’

Manama : His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, yesterday stressed the importance of media in reflecting the aspirations of Bahraini youth. 

This came as Shaikh Khalid met the management and director board members of DT News and discussed issues and prospects related to media in Bahrain.

“The media should ensure that youth activities undertaken by the government are given importance,” stressed Shaikh Khalid adding: “This focus will inspire the Bahraini youth to come forward to express their talents and join the process of nation-building.”

The media’s special focus on youth, Shaikh Khalid said, will contribute immensely to the fruition of Bahrain’s 2030 vision by empowering Bahraini youth. 

DT News Chairman & MD Unnikrishnan Puravangara and Director & Chief Editor Captain Mahmood Al Mahmood assured the newspaper’s support in the government’s endeavour to promote youth and sports activities.
