Bab Al Bahrain hosts longest Iftar gathering

Bab Al Bahrain hosted the longest Iftar gathering of this year. More than 1000 Iftar meals were distributed for shop owners and workers.
Iftar team leader, Omar Isa said the Iftar represents a charitable role that holds values of generosity, compassion and community bonds in Bahraini society.
He stressed that the Iftar encourages teamwork and consistency in the context of charity work, especially in the holy month of Ramadan as it expresses a high sense of Islamic solidarity and its responsibility towards society.
The team leader thanked all volunteers, both members of the team and others for preparing the place in Bab Al Bahrain and distributing meals to workers in particular.
He specially thanked the “We are prepared” team volunteers and Manama Traditional Market Committee Deputy Chairman Mahmood Al Namliti, Bab Al Bahrain security police, and to all those who contributed and participated in this project.
He also thanked people for extending financial support.
Manama Traditional Market Committee Deputy Chairman Mahmood Al Namliti confirmed the commitment of all initiatives to benefit the wellbeing of those in need in the community.
He also praised the production team and supporters of such initiatives that hold the holy month values of Ramadan.
