PM wishes UAE on National Day

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa congratulated the United Arab Emirates on its 45th National Day. 

“The UAE celebrates its National Day, being proud of its landmark achievements that turned the country into a role model for development and progress,” the PM said.

Prince Khalifa hailed deep-rooted fraternal relations, paying tribute to the UAE leadership and people for supporting Bahrain in all circumstances.

Lauding the steadily-growing relations, the Premier hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

This came as the PM attended yesterday evening a ceremony hosted by UAE Ambassador Abdul Ridha Abdulla Khouri at the Gulf Hotel, in the presence of senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps and guests. 

The Prime Minister reiterated the keenness of both countries’ leaders on bolstering cooperation and building on achievements to strengthen their regional and international standing. 

“Bahrain looks forward to strengthening economic, commercial and investment relations with the UAE and stepping up joint coordination regarding Gulf, Arab and international issues in the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),” the PM said. 

The UAE Ambassador thanked the PM, hailing his keenness on consolidating ties.
