Sewerage works completed
Manama : In view of the Ashura season, all preparations have been completed in the vicinity of the Hussaini rituals, informed Sanitary Engineering Operation and Maintenance Director at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Shawqi Mandeel yesterday. The Hussaini rituals take place along Imam Al Hussain Avenue in Manama.
“All sewerage networks along Imam Al Hussain Avenue were cleaned. Preventive maintenance works for the pumping stations in the area have been completed,” he said. “The Ministry is keen to provide a healthy environment for citizens and residents participating in Ashura rituals.”
In a statement, he urged people to maintain cleanliness of sewerage and storm water drainage networks.
