Bahrain to host key meet on well-being
Manama : Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza will patronise the International Well-being Conference and Exhibition at Bahrain Exhibition Centre, Crowne Plaza Hotel, from November 9 to 11.
The event will be organised by the Bahrain Association of Occupational Health Physicians, in coordination with Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) as a strategic partner.
The Bahrain Association of Occupational Health Physicians President Dr. Mohammed Salil said ideal health can be achieved by balancing its requirements like psychological, physical, cognitive and spiritual factors.
He added the concept of occupational health goes back to 1950, when it was shared by both the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
