Shop owner held for selling Hezbollah-related images
Manama: The Terror Crimes Prosecution has ordered for the detention of a Bahraini shop owner accused of selling Hezbollah-related images.
The group was declared as a terrorist organisation in the Gulf region and the Arab World because of its hostile actions. On Wednesday, The General Director of the Capital Governorate Police said in a statement that the police had arrested a Bahraini man and his Asian employee for the crime.
The General Attorney of the Terrorist Crimes Prosecution Ahmed Al Hammadi said in a statement that the Bahraini man was ordered to be kept in police custody ahead of putting him on trial on charges of promoting a terrorist organisation.
Al Hammadi added that his shop was also sealed. On Wednesday, The General Director of the Capital Governorate said that a large quantity of images were confiscated from the store.
